The last Sunday in March is Neighbour Day in Australia and to celebrate, Mingle is partnering with the Celebrate Gungahlin Festival to bring a picnic to Taylor. The picnic will include children’s activities, music, food and drink vendors.
There will be Holi themed music and activities, a visit from Parks and Conservation ACT and a pop-up stall by the Canberra heritage Festival.
The picnic will be in the open space bordered by Robin Boyd Crescent and Trevor Gibson Way.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will not be encouraging food sharing with people outside of your household. We ask families and individuals to bring their own picnics or purchase food from vendors.
During COVID-19, your health and safety is our priority. All Mingle events and activities held will have measures in place to look after our community.
The Mingle team is keeping a close eye on COVID-19 restrictions, and if circumstances change we may alter or postpone events at short notice. We will keep you informed.
All Mingle events will adhere to physical distancing practices, encourage good hand hygiene and remind you to stay home if you are unwell.
